Logo Design – DC Central Kitchen
As part of a growing tradition, every Thanksgiving the Obama family volunteers at area Washington, DC soup kitchens and food banks in an effort to reach out to those in need.
This year, President Obama and his daughter Sasha, visited DC Central Kitchen, to prepare meals alongside other volunteers. In a speech made back in 2014, Obama said “At shelters and soup kitchens, Americans give meaning to the simple truth that binds us together: We are our brothers’ and our sisters’ keepers.”
As the company behind the DC Central Kitchen logo design, we must admit it’s a pretty great feeling to see the President of the United States wearing our logo, designed by TriVision’s own Creative Director and co-Founder, Arsalan Lutfi.
DC Logo Design Represents TriVision’s Roots
This logo design hits close to home every time we see it, whether on TV or on their iconic food truck driving around the city, not just because it’s for a good cause and we did it, but because it also represents TriVision’s roots and history.
Back when the founders of TriVision were still in college – say about 17 years ago or so – Arsalan won a contest among all the graphic design classes at George Mason University for his logo design for DC Central Kitchen.

Who knew this logo design would end up on the apron of the President one day? Not to mention many other celebrities and philanthropists who have volunteered in this nationally recognized community kitchen over many years.
TriVision is proud of its Creative Director for designing an iconic logo that goes beyond just being a logo, it has become the symbol of all community kitchens in the nation.
