Honoring DC’s Digital Media and Video Production Stars
It was an evening filled with the beautiful and inspiring people of DC’s Metropolitan media production community gathering to celebrate the 2014 TIVA-DC Peer Awards at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Oscars- style.
Hosted by America’s Funniest People winner and national comedian, Big Al Goodwin, the annual Peer Awards recognizes excellence in film, video and digital media productions in a variety of genres including political advertisements, documentaries, music videos, commercials, and more.
The productions were judged anonymously by a panel of industry professionals through a strict set of criteria. The categories included scriptwriting, sound design, acting, editing, and overall excellence. For a complete list of the categories and winners see The Peer Awards website. All Gold Award winners received a TIVA-DC Peer Award trophy, Silver and Bronze winners received an embossed certificate before an audience of hundreds.
As a Gold Sponsor, TriVision’s president and CEO, Sulaiman Lutfi, was honored to speak in front of DC’s media production community and also present the highest prize of the evening: the distinguished ”Best of DC” Award.
