TriVision Celebrates Rumi Day

On October 7th, the Alliance for the Restoration of Cultural Heritage (ARCH ) and the Embassy of Afghanistan in Washington D.C  hosted a special evening celebrating the internationally beloved son of Afghanistan, the great poet, Rumi the Maulana.  TriVision was honored to have taken part in the celebration as one of the special guests as well as a sponsor, having provided design and marketing consultation for the event.

Some highlights from the celebration included: a reflection on Rumi by His Excellency Ambassador Hamdullah Mohib and Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, a Rumi poetry recitation by professor Hamid Naweed with accompanied musical performance, and a discussion with Rumi scholar Dr. Keshavarz.

I was Dead I Came Alive by Rumi was the translated poem read that evening.

The evening was topped off with traditional Afghan dinner, transporting guests back in time to Balkh- where the Maulana was born 810 years ago. For more info, visit www.ARCHinternational.org.
