Thai Basil Restaurant, a Zagat-Rated Thai cuisine favorite, known for its appearance on the Food Network’s ‘Throwdown with Bobby Flay‘ and the ‘Travel Channel’, is set to begin its highly anticipated plans for renovation this spring. Led by Elegance Décor and its sister company TriVision, the restaurant’s entire interior space will be revamped to reflect the signature of Thai hospitality and modern elegance while maintaining the initial charm of the property.
Located in Chantilly, Virginia, Thai Basil will remain open during normal business hours throughout the course of construction, with plans of a grand opening event in May 2014.
Elegance Décor will take creative control of the project, with TriVision documenting the journey from start to finish, showcasing the transformation.
Thai Basil’s new design will include a bright setting and modern contemporary décor, appealing to the eye yet exuding a warm welcoming feel to guests. While keeping some of the same furniture intact, Elegance Décor plans to add new flooring, lighting, contemporary finishes, lighting, and vibrant colors.
The renovation doesn’t end there. Thai Basil’s brand identity will also be getting a facelift with TriVision’s help, with a newly redesigned logo, new menus, marketing collateral and revamped website. Both the interior and virtual branding of Thai Basil will be done in a way to complement each other and reflect a consistent look and feel.
The anticipation of the end-project demonstrates how devoted Thai Basil is to its regular clientele. “With the renovation, we are determined to reinforce the brand’s commitment to deliver great value to our guests. We want to make sure our customers will find the new look to be warm and comforting as they are dining,” commented owner / chef Nongkran Daks.
