We just wanted to take a moment to say how proud we were to be a sponsor at Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC)’s 2015 Hot Ticket Awards, held on June 22nd at the beautiful home of the NVTC President, Bobbie Kilberg. What made the evening even more memorable was when special guest, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, hopped off his helicopter in style to join us and present the awards to Virginia’s most innovative and driven minds in the business.
The NVTC Hot Ticket Awards is a popular summer soirée, featuring cocktails, dinner, music, and networking with some of the hottest and most tech-savvy businessmen and businesswomen in the commonwealth.
Aiming to celebrate the efforts of companies and individuals in our tech community who have exhibited that “special something” – or “Hot Tickets” – the awards are given to those who exhibit the most innovative and dynamic visions in the Northern Virginia community.
Over 60 companies were nominated this year. Track Maven took home the award for Hottest Startup, Booz Allen won the Hall of Fame award, Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA) snatched the Hottest Venture Capital Deal award, and Wedding Wire and Social Tables both won the awards for Company Culture of the Year. Other fun categories included Hottest Bootstrap, Hottest Tropical Attire, Hottest Exit, Hottest Buzz, and Hottest Friend of the Entrepreneur.
“It was a truly memorable evening and we enjoyed meeting the Virginia Governor and so many interesting individuals. We are honored to be part of such an elite group of business professionals and look forward to working with NVTC in future events,” said TriVision EVP and Creative Director, Arsalan Lutfi.
