Capital Food Fight

Last night, inside the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center (and the location of our new office!) was the Capital Food Fight. 75 of DC’s best restaurants provided their fares for viewers of the live onstage battle hosted by Anthony Bourdain and judged by some of the biggest names in the culinary world. Some of the local chefs battling included Frederik De Pue of Table, and Tim Ma of Water & Wall.

The event supported the DC Central Kitchen.  The Kitchen is America’s leader in reducing hunger through recycled foods and training programs for unemployed adults looking to start culinary careers. Additionally, they serve healthy school meals and aim to rebuild urban food systems through social enterprise.

17 years ago, a young George Mason student created their logo – that student happened to be our creative director, Arsalan!
